My Capstone project focused on the neighborhood of Red Hook, Brooklyn, where the proliferation of last mile delivery warehouses has caused environmental and health hazards. The research presented in the project argues that the reactivating the city’s marine highway infrastructure can help alleviate the pressures generated by truck traffic in the neighborhood.
